| I needed that.
I just spent the weekend down at the family cabin in Point Roberts with great friends, some new some old, and a heck-of-a-lotta sun. fantastic. I just wrote my final exam (which did not go very well...this may just break me for the honor roll zone i am in) on wednesday, so it was great to kick off the weekend wth some serious R&R.
Less than a week and i will be settled into my new place Walnut Grove with my 4 other fabulous roomates. Then it will be back to the books in no time. This fall i look forward to learning about Art History, a little more French, buff up my English skills, and learn a thing or two about Statistics...YIKES!

| Condidering the source....
I just got back from a much needed refreshing run. With the stress of one week left of my class over the summer and an exam just around the corner I needed to burn off a little anxiety. Plus, I am house-sitting for my uncle down in White Rock for the month of August, so I am taking advantage of every dry day I get to run along just another one of BC’s beautiful coasts. Anyway, as I was running today a toothless-bike-riding ….for lack of a better phrase…’old dude’ pipes up as he wobbled along an his bike and says “…keep is up honey…lookin’ good”. I think ‘sick…get some teeth buddy’ (oh, just kidding all you toothless people out there….). I just think it’s funny when people feel the need to make comments like that, even though I am sure I have had my fair share of dishin’ out comments, but still…my first reaction is do give a ‘I am seriously annoyed and irritated’ look of disgust. Although, I mist admit this little comment did give me that extra ‘umph’ I needed to opt for my slightly more ambitious 7km route as opposed to the usual 5. SO it was all good in the end. Haha!
In other news, my little sister just got married a couple weeks ago. As it happened, she got married on the hottest friggin’ day of the year! July 22! I am so glad I am not one of the dudes who had to wear a burdensome suit all day. Yikes. Here are just a couple pics some people forwarded to me:

this is my neice and nephew, Peyton and Amalie. oh man, so cute!!
Also, I am moving in with 4 other fabulous ladies in Walnut Grove this month. I am really looking forward to having roommates again, and even more looking forward to getting to know each of these ladies a little more. More to come on that topic once I actually move in!

| As if the gas prices are not bad enough these days. Listen to what I absent mindedly did the other day. I whipped into a gas station, get out, fill up, pay, then go back to my car to see a staff member pumpin the gas of the car behind me. Thats right. I filled myself up at a Full Serve pump. I could think of better ways to have spent that extra 4 cents a liter! geesh! | | |
| Ya know when you read a book and different dates are mentioned, well, i always wonder if someone reading book has their birthday on the day that is mentioned in the book. I just think that would be cool, and it woudl stand out to you when you read it. Well, it finally happened to me yesterday. The Secret Life of Bees. Page 279. Octber 10. Awesome. | | |
